Knotts Memorial's Mission statement is to share our common

belief in our Lord and Savior with everyone, through education,

worship and outreach as Disciples of Christ

Outreach

As you can see from the list above,Knotts is involved in several outreach missions. This is not a set list as we do various things as they come up. The list provided is  our standard outreach missions.

Our biggest mission is Knotts Feeding the Community (KFC). This is a monthly dinner open to the community. It is a way we can give back to those around us. This is held every month on the last Wednesday. Watch the Hurhearld and Calhoun Chronicle for menu's. There are no requirements to attend. We want anyone in hunger distance(if you can drive before you starve) to come. We want to run out of food while giving back! Sometimes its not about the food, but about needed fellowship. So if you need food, or fellowship, this is the place for you. If your pantry is overflowing, then come and be the conversation that someone else may be longing for.

Knotts regularly gives to the Grantsville Food Pantry that is located at the First Baptist Church.

Twice a month Bingo is held at Bramblewood. Bramblewood is low income housing located in our County. Along with bingo, a devotion is held with those who attend. This is on the first and third Thursday of the month. The church also has a yearly cookout with the tenants of Bramblewood. It is a fun time of fellowship and outreach.

Knotts  has in the last few years started giving Christmas gifts to families in need. We also contribute to Calhoun Christmas Connections. Knotts donates to various groups and functions. Our business meetings are open, welcoming new ideas at all times.
